We’re Approved Again for 2025–2026 CPD!
We’re proud to announce that we have once again been approved as an accredited
training provider for the 2025–2026 CPD period by NSW Fair Trading. This ongoing
approval recognises our commitment to delivering high-quality, compliant training
that helps agents meet their legal CPD obligations and maintain best practice across
the industry.

Key Information
• For the 2025–26 CPD year (1 July 2025 to 30 June 2026), all licensed agents must
complete every compulsory topic relevant to their licence category and area of
practice.
• Class 1 licence holders are required to attend a NSW Fair Trading-accredited forum
in addition to completing their core CPD hours.
• Failure to meet your CPD requirements can lead to the suspension or cancellation
of your licence or certificate.

Your 2025–2026 CPD Requirements
The CPD year for all licence and certificate holders runs from 1 July to 30 June each
year.
All licensed agents must complete the compulsory topics that apply to their licence
category and area of practice.
Compulsory topics must be delivered by a training provider approved by the Strata
and Property Services Commissioner.
Training must be delivered:
• in an interactive, face-to-face setting (maximum 40 attendees), or
• via an interactive webinar (maximum 25 attendees), and
• must include an assessment activity.
Online self-paced CPD is no longer accepted.
Class 1 agents must also complete at least five hours attending an accredited NSW
Fair Trading event.
Licensees-in-charge must ensure all CPD training is included in the agency’s training
plan and reflects topics most relevant to their duties.

Residential Real Estate Salespeople, Buyers Agents and Residential
Property Managers:

Minimum 7 hours of interactive training covering 4 compulsory topics
Short-term Residential Property Managers:

Minimum 4 hours covering 3 compulsory topics
Commercial Real Estate Agents or Business Brokers:
-
Minimum 5 hours covering 4 compulsory topics

All Class 1 agents must also attend a NSW Fair Trading accredited event for at least five hours
Strata Managing Agents

Minimum 4 hours of interactive training covering 3 compulsory topics, plus

Minimum 1 hour completing the mandatory online TAFE module on disclosures and fiduciary duty

All Class 1 agents must also attend an accredited event for at least five hours
Stock and Station Agents

Minimum 5 hours of interactive training covering 4 compulsory topics

Dual Licence Holders​
Real Estate Strata
If you hold both licences and you’re a residential real estate salesperson, buyers
agent or property manager, you must complete:

1 hour for the mandatory TAFE module

Class 1 agents must also attend a five-hour accredited event​
For short-term residential property managers:

New Mandatory Course
​
NSW Fair Trading is developing a new mandatory Commissions, Disclosures and
Fiduciary Duty course for all licensed strata agents. This must be completed by 30
June 2026 — you will be notified when enrolments open.
